The value of the world carpet market is estimated at 17 billion US dollars. Turkey is an important carpet producer and exporter in the global market. Turkey’s total carpet exports in 2022 were worth 2.8 billion US Dollars. Due to its significant contributions to the industry, Turkey is considered the second largest carpet exporter and one of the leading producing countries. Turkey currently holds 17% of the global carpet market.
