Our trade with the African continent has increased nearly fivefold over the past 20 years, reaching $31.7 billion in 2023, and this trend continues in 2024. In this context, the bilateral trade volume between January and May 2024 has increased by 9.6% compared to the same period last year, rising to $13.6 billion (according to the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey). The 4th Export Gateway to Africa, which builds a vast trade and export network to Africa for Turkey’s leading sectors and increases the trade volume between Turkey and African countries, will be held on October 16-17, 2025, at the global trade hub Pullman Convention Center.
At the 4th Export Gateway to Africa fair, organized with chambers of commerce, sectoral unions, and business associations from the participating countries, sectors such as furniture, construction, beauty, cosmetics, agriculture, agricultural machinery, food and packaging, medical products, packaged food, logistics, and foreign trade will meet with qualified buying delegations. In addition to official authorities, many agencies continue their work at full speed, while leading economic organizations of Africa such as the Arab Maghreb Union (UMA), Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), Community of Sahel–Saharan States (CEN–SAD), East African Community (EAC), Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Southern African Development Community (SADC) are also conducting buyer delegation meetings.
In the Export Gateway to Africa Fair held in 2024, over 1,400 B2B meetings were held. In 2025, we will break the meeting record set in 2024. You will expand your export goals with the B2B meetings you will hold.
