Half-Cut cell solar panels are panels that are created by dividing the cells used in normal panels in half and have some advantages as a result of this process.
Half-cut solar panels consist of 120 or 144 half-size cells in the same design dimensions, instead of consisting of 60 or 72 cells like normal panels. In this way, a lower electrical resistance is obtained in the internal structure of the panel and the efficiency of the panel is increased. Half-cut solar panels work much more efficiently than normal panels under the effect of shading, due to not only dividing the cells in half, but also customizing the connection type in the internal structure of the panel.
Half-cut panels not only have technical advantages, but also reduce the return on solar energy investment. It provides much shorter turnaround times than normal panels, especially in areas where shadows are anticipated and space restrictions. In this way, cost-effective investments can be made with half-cut solar panels without sacrificing quality and output power.
